I now carry the cutest little hair clips in my shop, Kelly's Artbox, (in Occoquan Virginia) that my sister makes.

Roxie is a lovely bay roan draft cross. This is my first time doing a roan...and I had alot of fun with it! She was airbrushed in acrylics and has handpainted details.

My little studio, Kelly's Artbox, in Occoquan, VA has come a long way since it's start in 2007. I moved locations from a second level store to a storefront and with the help of my amazing boyfriend, in January I completely rearranged everything and now it looks like a whole new store!

I've also got some new items in! I now carry cards from Earmark Invitations (very smart and funny), and also have custom made couture hairpins/brooches by Glen & Constance designs.

All my items (except the furniture) are handmade and completely unique.

As a northern Virginia artist, one of the things I love doing most are pet portraits. Over the years I have been asked to do all kinds of dogs, kitties, and horses-- unfortunately most of them under sad circumstances as a memory of a pet lost. Some though, have been as gifts to celebrate the living.

So I don't know why I decided to make these, I am in a very happy and successful relationship, but they made me laugh! Hopefully they'll make you laugh too. you can click on the pictures to purchase.

Custom Breyer Horse- Cherry Bay

This lovely guy now belongs to Kaitlyn in Michigan! Kaitlyn requested I paint a cherry bay with a snip and 4 white socks. His coloring was modeled after this horse. Enjoy!

His details include: Hoof striping, painted horseshoes, and 4 layers of shading in airbrushed acrylics. Want your own model? Please feel free to contact me!
